Mountaintop

For restaurants & cafes

Be the place they find when they are deciding where to eat.

People search “somewhere to eat near me”, look at the photos, read the last few reviews and check whether you are open. Most of that decision happens before anyone rings. Mountaintop makes sure what they find is current, appetising and yours.

What it's quietly costing you

Not dramatic failures — the daily leaks in restaurants & cafes that add up to real money.

The menu nobody can read

Your menu is a PDF, a photo of a chalkboard, or six months out of date — so search engines cannot read it, AI assistants cannot quote it, and the person deciding between you and the place down the road picks the one they can actually see.

Wrong hours on a bank holiday

Google says open, you are closed. Someone drives over, finds the door locked, and leaves the review that follows you for a year. Hours live in four places and change more often than any other fact about you.

The phone at seven o'clock

The one hour you cannot answer the phone is the hour everyone rings — a table for four, a takeaway order, a question about allergens. Every unanswered ring during service is a booking that went somewhere else.

Photos that undersell the food

The pictures people judge you on are whichever ones a customer happened to upload. Proper photography of your actual dishes is the highest-return thing most kitchens never get round to.

Reviews that stopped two years ago

You are busy, so nobody asks. Your last review is old and middling while the place next door has fifty fresh ones — and diners and AI both read recency as a sign you are still worth going to.

Invisible to the AI answer

“Where should I eat tonight?” is now a question people ask an assistant. It answers from what it can read — your menu, your hours, your reviews. If those are an image, you are not in the answer.

Till, booking and ordering systems

We work with what you already run on.

You are not moving off your till, booking and ordering system to work with us, and your team is not learning a second one. It stays the source of truth; we join the website, the phones and the marketing to it.

  • Toast
  • Square
  • Clover
  • Lightspeed
  • TouchBistro
  • OpenTable
  • Resy
  • or whatever you use

A restaurant runs on a till and usually a reservation book, and the two rarely talk to each other. Toast runs a documented partner programme with a certification step and Square's developer platform is public; several of the others we have not verified yet, which we would rather tell you than guess at.

Straight about this: we have no pre-built connector for any of these. Each connection is scoped and built with you as part of a Platform engagement, against whatever you actually run — so ask us about yours before you assume either way.

Why restaurants are a fit

The decision is made online, fast, on a phone. That moment is exactly what we work on.

You are chosen before you are visited

Nobody rings to ask what you serve any more — they look. Making that look good, current and readable is most of the job.

Your facts change constantly

Menus, specials, hours, holidays. We keep them right everywhere they appear, instead of you remembering four logins.

Reviews are your rating and your ranking

Fresh reviews decide both where you show up and who picks you. We keep them coming instead of waiting on them.

Service is when you cannot answer

The phone rings hardest when the kitchen is busiest. That is precisely what the receptionist is for.

What we run for you

One engine, as deep as you want it — a website, then marketing, then the whole front office. Same engine, same team, one bill.

1

Be found

Menu, hours and photos, readable everywhere

A site search engines and AI assistants can actually read — real menu text, not a PDF — with hours, location and photography consistent across Google, Apple Maps and your own pages.

2

Be chosen

Fresh reviews, and food that looks like your food

Review requests going out after service, and posts built from your real dishes and your real room, so what people find is current rather than whatever was uploaded two years ago.

3

Be run

The phone answered through service

Calls picked up when the room is full — reservations, takeaway questions, opening hours — so the rush stops costing you the bookings it creates.

What that looks like day to day

A menu machines can read

Written as text and structured, so Google and AI assistants can quote dishes, prices and allergens.

Hours right in every place

Changed once, updated wherever they appear — including the holiday hours everyone forgets.

Photography that sells the food

Your dishes and your room, used across the site, the listings and the posts.

Answered at seven o'clock

The busiest hour is the one you cannot pick up, and the one where it costs most.

About the delivery apps

DoorDash, Uber Eats and the rest sit between you and your customer and take a cut of every order for it. We do not replace them. We make the direct route findable enough to be worth having, so someone who already knows your name does not have to go through a marketplace to reach you.

Let's make you the easy choice tonight

We build the site first and show it to you before you pay for anything.
